We are a reading group for undergraduate women led by Professors Jim Anderson, Don Smith, Danielle Szafir, Cynthia Sturton, and Alyssa Byrnes at UNC Chapel Hill. Once a week, for just an hour, we read papers together out loud (yes, you read that correctly). The content we read generates much discussion. Some of our discussions focus on technical issues and some focus on writing skills. We also talk a good bit about career options and preparing for grad school.

Our Two Rules
1. Time is valuable – We will always start and end within the hour, and we don’t expect any work outside of our time together
2. There are no dumb questions – We’re all learning together and all questions are encouraged!
